"Sometimes I wish people would wake up and smell the roses
Somebody once said, "those who feel it, know it"
Somehow in this "zoo" new world order, something old is lost
But at what cost, at what cost?

I wish people would wake up and smell the roses
Somebody once said, "those who feel it, they know it"
Those who feel it, they know it
Somehow in this new world order, something is lost
But at what cost, at what cost?

The people they don't know
They don't know who they are
I don't understand it
The people they don't know who they are
And I don't understand it

As I stand accused, who cares if Jesus was black or white?
Or if the world was created in seven days or seven nights?
I don't give a red, white or blue freak!
..Do you?

Who cares if the man that was the first person to fall down
in front of the first brick that was thrown to fulfill
the american queen dream was... dark and you were useless
I don't give a red, white and blue freak.
..Do you?

It doesn't pay the taxes or the rent,
Doesn't make up for time spent,
Doing life bound and scraped to live in a box, to live in this land
I don't understand
I don't understand it

The people they don't know who they are
I don't understand it
The people they don't know who they are
And I don't understand it

I wish people would wake up and smell the roses
I wish people would wake up and smell the roses
Somebody once said "those who feel it, know it"

The people they don't know who they are
And I can't understand it
They don't know who they are...
And I can't understand it"

Damn tag

5 min read
I've been tagged by SeeNuanRun to post 8 facts about me in this journal ... it seems a bit egocentric to me, but who cares? Nobody's going to read this anyway ...

1. Post these rules.
2. Each person tagged must post eight random (hopefully interesting) facts about themselves.
3. Tags should write a journal of these facts.
4. At the end post eight more deviants you wish to tag.
5. Go to their site and leave a comment telling them they're tagged.

About me:

1 - I love driving throughout places I've never been before ... sometimes I pick the keys of my car, my radio and my mp3 and travel alone to random places. Just me and good music.

2 - My romantic ideal is to stay on a desert beach in the morning with the one I like/love, watching the sunrise and feeling a soft breeze in my arms, while listening to the waves crushing on the sand. (unfortunately, I would start thinking that the person beside me would think that one of those moments could be boring, and that thought can/could ruin the moment)

3 - I will jump from a plane someday :D (with parachute, of course ... and now that I think about it, I wouldn't mind jumping without a parachute either, it would be a great way of ending my life, I would feel completely free in my last minutes in this world)

4 - I don't know how to talk with someone that I don't know too much ... and that sucks, my life could be very different from what it is if I could solve that ' problem' (and when I say different, it means that my life would be better). I'm afraid of crowds too so that makes things even worse when I go out to someplace with people that I don't know that much.

5 - When the sky is clean, I can stare to the stars for hours. Sometimes I wish that those nights would never end.

6 - I think too much about the people that surround me... it's a bad thing, because most of the times I let others take my place.

7 - I can't remember what I dream when I'm sleeping ... only nightmares (I still remember specifically some nightmares that I had at least 10 years ago)

8 - Lots of people say I'm a normal person but weird at the same time :P

Well ... it's done, now I tag:

I don't know who you are
And I don't know where you've been
Always out on your own
Always down on your knees

Now you know I need a miracle
A star crossed lover
An arrow in my heart
I need a rainy day in an endless summer
A pocket full of stars

Maybe you're just like me
You see faces in the crowd
Looking down at their feet
Never once make a sound

Now you know I need a miracle
A star crossed lover
An arrow in my heart
I need a rainy day in an endless summer
A pocket full of stars

I need a miracle
A star crossed lover
An arrow in my heart
I need a rainy day in an endless summer
A pocket full of stars

Yeah Right

Haven't been around here (as usual) ... I'll see If I put an image or two in the next weeks ... or not.

"Cease to resist, giving my goodbye
Drive my car into the ocean
You'll think I'm dead, but I sail away
On a wave of mutilation
Wave of mutilation
Wave of mutilation
Wave of mutilation
Wave...
Wave..."

_Pixies - Wave Of Mutilation

And now here's a question for all of you:

If you'd found the man/woman that makes you feel more happier than ever, and he/she asked you to go with him/her to anywhere in the world besides the place you are (even if you or him/her didn't had financial possibilities), would you go to the whole wide world with him/her ?

(question inspired by the listening of "Whole Wide World" from Wreckless Eric)

I haven't been here around lately (as before) ... got a couple of stuff to do, but I'm happy that I have something to do, at least ... and I can't wait for the summer, I intend to travel around Europe for a couple of weeks at least :D

"On the floating, shipless oceans
I did all my best to smile
til your singing eyes and fingers
drew me, loving, to your isle.
And you sang, "sail to me, sail to me;
Let me enfold you."
Here I am, here I am waiting to hold you.
Did I dream you dreamed about me?
Were you here when I was full sail?
Now my foolish boat is leaning, broken lovelorn on your rocks.
For you sang, "touch me not, touch me not, come back tomorrow."
Oh my heart, oh my heart shies from the sorrow.
I'm as puzzled as a newborn child.
I'm as riddled as the tide.
Should I stand amid the breakers?
Or shall I lie with death my bride?
Hear me sing: "swim to me, swim to me, let me enfold you."
Here I am. Here I am, waiting to hold you."

_Tim Buckley / This Mortal Coil - Song To The Siren

I'm so addicted to this song at the moment. It makes me feel a bit sad thought, but it's so emotionally deep that I am attracted to it's maze.

2007

3 min read
Vincent Malloy is seven years old,
He's always polite and does what he's told.
For a boy his age he's considerate and nice,
But he wants to be just like Vincent Price.

He doesn't mind living with his sister, dog and cat,
Though he'd rather share a home with spiders and bats.
There he could reflect on the horrors he's invented,
And wander dark hallways alone and tormented.

Vincent is nice when his aunt comes to see him,
But imagines dipping her in wax for his wax museum.

He likes to experiment on his dog Abacrombie,
In the hopes of creating a horrible zombie.
So he and his horrible zombie dog,
Could go searching for victims in the London fog.

His thoughts aren't only of ghoulish crime,
He likes to paint and read to pass the time.
While other kids read books like Go Jane Go,
Vincent's favorite author is Edgar Allen Poe.

One night while reading a gruesome tale,
He read a passage that made him turn pale.
Such horrible news he could not survive,
For his beautiful wife had been buried alive.

He dug out her grave to make sure she was dead,
Unaware that her grave was his mother's flower bed.
His mother sent Vincent off to his room,
He knew he'd been banished to the tower of doom,
Where he was sentenced to spend the rest of his life,
Alone with a portrait of his beautiful wife.

While alone and insane, encased in his tomb,
Vincent's mother suddenly burst into the room.
"If you want to you can go outside and play.
It's sunny outside and a beautiful day."

Vincent tried to talk, but he just couldn't speak,
The years of isolation had made him quite weak.
So he took out some paper, and scrawled with a pen,
"I am possessed by this house, and can never leave it again."

His mother said, "You're not possessed, and you're not almost dead.
These games that you play are all in your head.
You're not Vincent Price, you're Vincent Malloy.
You're not tormented or insane, you're just a young boy."

"You're seven years old, and you're my son,
I want you to get outside and have some real fun."
Her anger now spent, she walked out through the hall,
While Vincent backed slowly against the wall.

The room started to sway, to shiver and creak.
His horrid insanity had reached its peak.
He saw Abacrombie his zombie slave,
And heard his wife call from beyond the grave.

She spoke from her coffin, and made ghoulish demands.
While through cracking walls reached skeleton hands.
Every horror in his life that had crept through his dreams,
Swept his mad laugh to terrified screams.

To escape the madness, he reached for the door,
But fell limp and lifeless down on the floor.
His voice was soft and very slow,
As he quoted The Raven from Edgar Allen Poe,
"And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor,
Shall be lifted... Nevermore!
"

From Tim Burton's short "Vincent" www.imdb.com/title/tt0084868/ (a very well made short, really)
